Burlesque!

Wasap everydody?!

Thought I'd make a quick post for today.

Last night I performed alongside miss Emilie and the beautiful Britney Shears. We did a number by Christina Aguilera 'Show Me How You Burlesque' and I had such a blast! It was an unforgettable experience also considering Christina has been a huge idol of mine for a very long time. We competed for the title Miss Roscoe's and we took it! Words can't even describe how happy I am for Britney. Hard work pays off ya'll!

Baby it's cold outside...

The holidays are here!! Despite the freezing cold, I find the holidays so warm and cozy. When I think of the holidays I picture family, loved ones, and hot chocolate.

I suppose all these things gives me a warm feeling in my heart that can even conquer Chicago's most brutal weather ^_^

Of course with the holidays, comes a beginning of a New Year! And if your anything like me, your probably sitting there and recapping the present year and how it has treated you. 2010 has been good to me. I did some traveling here and there. I will be in Vegas with the family for my first Christmas away from Chicago (estatic!!! ^_^)

This year, I'm blessed with yet another beautiful niece Alina Nguyen.

This year, I went outside of my box and joined my first ever hair competition and took second place (special thanks to James, Robbie, and Amanda for being part of the experience)!! In my Arnold Schwarzenegger's voice - I will be backkkk!!! HAHAHA

This year, I also woke up. No, not from a sleep. For as long as I could remember, I thought of life as a fairy tale. Therefore, I made up my own world. In my world, there was a castle made out of pink cotton candy which was guarded by talking cupcakes. The clouds tasted like pina colada and there was a strawberry smoothie waterfall. Perhaps I had an urge to escape reality, which resulted in me creating this dream-like paradise. This year, that world to me no longer exist.
